MISSION STATEMENT
The Edgewater Animal Hospital’s mission is to be the community
member people turn to when their pet’s health and well-being
is a concern. We will strive to provide excellent client services
and veterinary care in a friendly, respectful, organized and compassionate
manner.
As animal lovers ourselves, we recognize the special relationship
people have with their pets. By emphasizing client education and
pet advocacy, and by forging lasting relationships with our clients,
based on mutual trust and cooperation, we hope to support the welfare
of animals and the human-animal bond.

STAFF
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine:
John S. Kim, DVM
Founder and Director of Edgewater Animal Hospital
P.C., Dr. Kim is from New York City. Prior to Veterinary School,
he worked at the Open Door in Times Square, as a housing specialist
for homeless men and women, and then as a veterinary assistant
at several animal hospitals in Manhattan.
Dr. Kim is a 2000 graduate of the Cornell University
College of Veterinary Medicine. He has practiced in northern
New Jersey since 2000 and is licensed to practice in both
New York and New Jersey.
Dr. Kim is a general practitioner and has a
special interest in veterinary anesthesia and pain management.
